Page statistics (PostHog)
We use PostHog on its EU servers to count page views and clicks, including click and scroll maps. It runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device. It builds no profile of you and records no screen video. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages help visitors, under GDPR art. 6(1)(f).
Our server also counts visits from AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. It records only the tool name and the page, never a person.
Bookings and email
When you book a call, Cal.com handles the booking form and receives the name, email and answers you give. When you email us, we receive your message and address. We use these only to reply and to prepare the call you asked for. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, under GDPR art. 6(1)(b).
Company identification (Leadfeeder)
Only if you click Accept in our cookie banner, this site loads the Leadfeeder tracker from Leadfeeder Finland Oy, part of Dealfront. It matches the IP address of your visit to company names and related company data, such as the industry. This shows us which businesses visit the site. If you click Reject, the tracker does not load.
The tracker sets the first-party cookies _lfa (1 year) and _lfa_consent (2 years). Leadfeeder processes this data for us as our processor. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which businesses visit, under GDPR art. 6(1)(f). It applies only after you give consent to the tracker, as LSSI art. 22.2 requires.
We never send automatic emails to a company or person that the tracker identifies.
Hosting
Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and to keep the site secure.
Data sent outside the EU
PostHog processes page statistics on its EU servers. Leadfeeder is based in Finland. Two providers are United States companies:
- Vercel, for hosting. It uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission decision 2021/914).
- Cal.com, for bookings. It uses the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
We delete data when we no longer need it for the purpose above, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Your cookie choice stays in your browser for up to 24 months. After that, we ask again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. You can also object to its use, limit it, or ask for a copy. Email hello@bonsai.luxury. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings button below. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, at aepd.es.
