Conduit Alternatives for Hotels (2026): 6 Options Compared

For a small hotel that wants the AI looked after for one property, BonsAI Luxury is my pick, because it builds the AI receptionist and keeps its answers current. If you want per-room prices you can see today, look at HelloShift or HiJiffy.
I'm Iskander Nekkaz - Le Roux, the founder of BonsAI Luxury, an automation engineer and a Stanford alum.
Conduit sells AI agents that answer guest messages and calls. It says more than 300 hospitality brands in over 120 countries use it, and it names hotel teams, serviced apartments and short-term rental managers as its customers. Its prices are per unit, which suits a portfolio of rentals. A single small hotel may want a different shape. This page compares six options.
What does Conduit do well?
Conduit's agents page says its agents answer voice, chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS and OTA messages, with the guest's history. Through supported links, they check bookings, change reservations, collect payments and create tasks. Its pricing page starts at $18 per unit a month for Messaging, which includes Voice AI for inbound and outbound calls. Guest, from $30, adds portals and upsells. Full Suite, from $48, adds smart devices, cleaning and maintenance. Overwatch is custom priced, and Conduit's own 24/7 team runs guest messages, turnovers, maintenance and reviews, with phone calls included.
Where does a small hotel feel the gap?
Conduit prices by unit and credit, and the page says pricing scales beyond 50 listings. Its Startup plan is $899 a month for up to 25 units. The customer quotes on its pricing page come from rental managers. A 20-room hotel that only needs its guest questions answered may pay for more system than it uses.

1. BonsAI Luxury
Best for: one small hotel or villa with nobody free to run guest software.
BonsAI Luxury is a done-for-you service, not software your team runs. It builds an AI receptionist around one property's own facts and voice, on WhatsApp, website chat and email. Its phone agent answers from the same approved facts and takes a message for staff on anything else. After launch, BonsAI reads the conversations and fixes weak answers. Builds start from USD 1,500, after a free audit.
The catch. It's a new company with no published client results yet. It runs in English and French only. Unlike Conduit, it doesn't change bookings, collect payments or run turnovers and maintenance. It passes those requests to staff.
2. Quinta (formerly Quicktext)
Best for: a hotel that wants a person at the vendor keeping its answers current.
Quinta's AI assistant, Velma, answers in 38 languages on live chat, Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram and WeChat. Its pricing page lists a data service from $599 a month, with a dedicated consultant assigned to the hotel.
The catch. I didn't find phone answering on the pages I read.
3. Akia
Best for: a hotel that wants the AI to book rooms and take payment on the call.
Akia says its AI answers up to 90% of guest texts and messages, with OTA messages in the same inbox. Its top plan, Max, adds AI Voice with call transfers, call summaries and dedicated support. Its voice page says the AI books rooms and takes payment during the call.
The catch. Akia doesn't publish prices. Every plan says to talk to sales.
4. Canary Technologies
Best for: a hotel or group that wants phone, messaging and check-in from one large vendor.
Canary's AI Voice says it handles every call to the hotel. Its pricing page lists a unified inbox across SMS, WhatsApp, LINE and WeChat, with AI message replies from its Advanced plan. Canary says more than 20,000 hotels in over 125 countries use it.
The catch. Prices are custom quotes, and your team runs the inbox.
5. HelloShift
Best for: a hotel that wants per-room prices and AI phone answering next to housekeeping.
HelloShift publishes its prices per room, with a 40-room minimum. AI Voice comes with Guest+, from $100 a month billed annually, and with Pro. HelloShift says the AI voice checks live availability in your PMS and books rooms on the call. There are no setup fees.
The catch. Your team runs it day to day. A 12-room hotel pays for 40 rooms.
6. HiJiffy
Best for: a hotel that wants a published monthly price for messaging.
HiJiffy publishes its prices. Plans start at €99 a month, based on the number of rooms, plus a €99 setup fee for each five properties. The Pro plan, from €159 a month, adds a generative AI chatbot in 132 languages. WhatsApp and SMS come with Premium, from €319 a month.
The catch. I didn't find AI phone answering described on the pages I read.
Who should stay with Conduit?
Stay with Conduit if you run many units and want messages, calls, upsells and operations in one system. Its Overwatch plan is also a real done-for-you choice, with Conduit's own team on guest messages around the clock. If you're a single small hotel, ask for an Overwatch quote and compare it with a done-for-you build before you decide.
Pay for the work you need done, not for the units you don't have.
What should you ask before you switch?
- Who writes and updates the answers after launch?
- Is the price per room, per unit or per build, and what's the total for your property?
- Can the AI change a booking, or does it pass the request to staff?
- Does it answer the phone in the languages your guests speak?
- What happens when the AI doesn't know an answer at 2 a.m.?
